The Old English

4.5

I’ve been to The Old English a few times and it’s a great spot in Thonglor if you’re looking for a proper British pub atmosphere. The location is super convenient right under Thong Lor BTS, and once you’re inside it has that welcoming, classic pub feel that makes it easy to settle in for a drink or a meal.

What I really like about it is the mix of good food, friendly service, and a lively but comfortable atmosphere. The British menu is a big draw, especially if you’re after something traditional and hearty, and it’s easy to see why they’re known for the Churchill breakfast. They also have pub snacks and Thai food, so there’s a good range depending on what you’re in the mood for.

It’s also a fun place to hang out, not just eat and drink. There’s a quality pool table, plenty of screens for watching sports, and the music gives the place a social energy without making it feel over the top. The staff have always been warm and welcoming, which makes a big difference and gives the pub a nice community feel.

Overall, The Old English is a really solid choice if you want classic British comfort food, a relaxed pub setting, and a good place to watch sport or catch up with friends.
